The lack of a clear vision and strategy, poor communication and engagement from leaders are the main root causes of unsuccessful lean implementations. Therefore, in our second masterclass, we will explore how to lead with lean principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement empowering teams for problem solving.<\/span><\/p>

Lean leadership is a management philosophy and approach that focuses on developing a continuous improvement culture to eliminate waste (\u201cmuda\u201d) and increase efficiencies. It involves creating a problem-solving culture, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and empowering employees to raise their hands, discover problems and propose ideas, taking ownership of their work. Lean leadership emphasizes the value of respect for people, teamwork, knowledge sharing and a relentless pursuit of excellence.<\/span><\/p>

Lean leaders invest time and efforts to develop skills on an ongoing basis and delivering training programmes to support the emergence learning organisation, encouraging employees to grow, providing also coaching and mentoring enabling them to be successful in their roles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This masterclass will focus on the following topics:<\/span><\/p>

  • Define what is Lean Leadership and its relevance to support the transformation<\/span><\/li>
  • Reflect about the key lean leadership behaviours<\/span><\/li>
  • Identify the main pillars to develop a continuous improvement environment<\/span><\/li>
  • Discuss the key ingredients to develop a lean culture towards collaborative problem-solving<\/span><\/li>
  • Get inspired from SNAM, Certeso and Instituto Modelo de Cardiolog\u00eda about how they developed leadership skills towards a Lean Culture.<\/span><\/li>
