Hoshin Kanri is a strategic planning tool that organisations use to connect company-wide objectives to the day-to-day work of individual contributors. In Japanese, the word \u201choshin\u201d translates to \u201cpolicy\u201d or \u201cdirection.\u201d The word \u201ckanri\u201d translates to \u201cmanagement.\u201d These two words translate into, \u201cHow do we manage our direction?\u201d Hoshin Kanri is a planning technique to translate vision into strategy, objectives, goals and actions.<\/span><\/p>
